Membership means that the site has to commit to an industry code of practice that includes honest communication with users, protecting their privacy and providing a mechanism for reporting abuse.

“To date, there is no compelling evidence that any online dating matching algorithm actually works,” Finkel observes.
“If dating sites want to claim that their matching algorithm is scientifically valid, they need to adhere to the standards of science, which is something they have uniformly failed to do.
Twenty-two percent weren’t sure if the person they knew used a Christian or secular dating website, and 19 percent said that it was not a Christian website.
